  1. This video is about oral skill a learner said that for him is good have a group discusion because it is a challenge and the technique that the teacher use is that she choose a discussion leader during 15 minutes and this leader encourage to the other learners to speak starting with easy question and then with deper questions to obtain good speaking and in this stage they work with a rubric to grade their participations.
I use with my students dialogues thet chose the topic because I think when they chose the topic that they want they do a good presentation because is something that he / she like and as teachers we will obtain a better participation.

  2. Video Unit 11: Post-Secondary: Young Adults and Adults
This video shows us the importance of ALTERNATIVE ASSESSMENT: Discussion skills. The teacher explains us some benefits of Alternative assessment. I agree this assessment in the most of the cases are more benefits than written test. I think students are going to practice and acquire the new language in a better way. Besides, I believe that teacher used an INTERACTIVE APPROACH, because students speak more than the teacher, they have the opportunity to interact each other, also I consider that it is an INDUCTIVE METHOD, because learners are more engaged in the teaching-learning process, furthermore in the video we can appreciate a kind of group leader where he or she read the topic and the rest start to participate.
The goal is everybody speak equal and respond each other. For that reason, I consider teacher also uses LEANER-CENTER APPROACH. Besides, it is an Integrated Skill, because students have to read something and speak, or hear something and respond. The teacher uses a RUBRIC, she explains the importance of it. The educator also uses a PEER FEEDBACK. I believed that peer feedback is good, because the students have the opportunity to learn from each other, and later the teacher’s feedback is important too. Some students said in the video English is a tool to communicate, I totally agree with them.

    1. Dear Byron according your question.I think that Peer Feedbach is important and necessary for the student because they can realice where they have some mistake maybe in their pronunciation, in the use of the grammar or estructure. The Peer Feedbach can improve the student to be a very good discussion participants as video show us.

  7. VIDEO 3
POST - SECONDARY : YOUNG ADULTS & ADULTS

A learning based in a leadership into the group , because the learners develop an AUTONOMOUS AND INDEPENDENT LEARNING and they are able to communicate what they feel, think and even to express pros and cons advantages and disadvantages about any topic, a learning based in the discussion or developing an ESP according to the specific and specialized subject as : the environment, drugs, lifestyle, movies, technology, this activity allow they give deepen and deepen questions and the same time they give deepen answers . Here also it develops the SCAFFOLDING, but the teacher only just prepare the topic and the learners first join in groups, there is a monitor or couch inside of group, create a topic and finally they develop the discussion those events are given step by step. When I refer to the young adults learners are able to give suggestions, recommendations even solution to the current problems. I found interesting the PEER ASSESSMENT AND WASHBACK among them because they have mature criteria and they don't feel embarrassed for the commentaries made from peers.

  9. This video is related with language skill where all the students take participation and also they have peer assessment and interact each other taking turns.
Every single student has to take a role on the speech activity where the informal and formal assessments are crucial to the measurement of the process in the language learning among students.
Furthermore, rubrics are authentic assessments require teachers and students to demonstrate their knowledge or skills in a variety of ways. Means while teachers select the appropriate assessment and rubrics according to the levels and activities.

    1. Hi Wilson
Is very necessary use a rubric in the different activities because I think that the main purpose of a rubric is the student’s performance in the activity also the rubrics can be used for just about any assignment and any course, basically a rubric can be an important tool to the teacher and learners so some learners will not read a rubric once, but use the rubric as a way to reflect, analyse and improve their work.

  11. Video 3 - Post - secondary This video is very interesting
because they are using the Alkternative Assessment Discussion Skills this kind of task is benefits for the students, fist the student have to divide in groups and each one choose a leading the teacher give them a period of time to discuse about the topic, this skill helping them apply what they see and is very useful to improve the speaking skill in the future they can be an exellent discussion participant moreover between partner talk about the topic and the leading can receive some recomendation about their fluency it is very good because theirself cannot focus in their mistakes, each one learn from good students. the discussion leading is a tool to communicate to acquire knowledge onthe second language, The student can practice in their lifes or activities all the time
The teacher use a rubric it is very important tool.
