How to upload to the blog

Hi everyone,

It sounds like you are all doing well, and I hope your work is coming along fine. I decided to put together this mini-tutorial for those of you wondering how to post your work to the blog.

First, in order to sign in you have to go to the parent site: blogger.com. Sign in with your gmail account. Once you get to the blog, you will need to make a new post (I think in Spanish it is "Entrada"). See the image below.

Click on the "New post" button and then you will be taken to a page where you can upload (or directly write) your work. See the image below:

The part circled in green is where you will copy and paste (or directly write). The icons circled in blue will help you format your text. Above the icons is a space to write your title. Please be sure to include your name so we can easily and clearly see who wrote it (your name will also appear at the bottom of the post as the author of the post).

Once you are happy with your work, you will press "Publish" (the light blue circle). If you want to save it for later to edit or change, without publishing, press the "save" button instead (red circle). Next to the "save" button is "preview": you can use this before you publish to look at the text and make sure things are formatted and look "pretty".



If you want to insert a picture/photo or video, use the icons circled in blue above. The first is for photos, the second for videos.

If you decided to save (and not publish) your work, you will find it when you log in later on the right-hand side of the home page of the blog (where you find "New posts"). It will say "draft" (circled in purple below). Click on your name and it should take you back to your post.


To write comments, you will need to go to the blog itself: utaapril2018.blogpost.com. You will probably need to be logged into your gmail account.

Teaching Adult Learners    ( Byron Soria)     Well, I chose this topic, because, actually I am working  at the University as an English teacher, and obviously I am interested to learn new things, and share some ideas.
