Reflection about Young Learners (Jorge Quinaluiza)
Talking about young learners I would like to say that young learners are enthusiastic students that want to show understanding to the teacher even if they are wrong or wright. However, they show much interest in learning a foreign language when the class is very interested, funny or difficult. At the same time, they can be easy demotivated when the classes are not well performed. That’s why teachers should adapt materials that are not too long. It must be funny colourful to catch young learner’s attention. Describing the three groups: Young learners (children ages 5-12), Teenagers (ages 13-18+) and Adults (professionals, college students). Alison is a great platform as Jorge explains, and I would like to share other important characteristics as well. Students can access to a variety of courses. One important aspect that is free. Besides, students can learn English and another subject or topic at the same time, for example technology, business, psychology, human resources, etc. Alison has millions of registered learners that are a proof that platform is excellent. It is important to mention there is not a limited time on completing the activities.

Undoubtedly the virtual education in last time has came being a indispensable tool inside of learning because is managed through platforms, online interactive courses, modality is coupled to the time and needs to the learners can be applied to all knowledge areas. A good tool I applied in my University some years ago was in the teaching of English "Tell me more " unlucky in this opportunity I could not uploading this app due the huge megas, but really it's outcome was great into the learning.

I love the idea of learning a subject using English. It puts the language in perfect context, and is authentic "to boot".
